London's favourite listing mag gets a new editor.

I can't say it looks promising, bringing in a consultant whose track record consists of Smash Hits, Sky and Heat.

That is a smug looking man. I don't like him.

No cock from him, then.

That photo makes him look quite rugged and smooth, but he looks like Kovac's younger brother normally.

I....I take it back, he looks like a pink space alien with desires on destroying the earth!

Time Out went through a phase before of celebrity interviews and ludicrous swanky shopping articles, recently it's been a more solid listings mag. I guess circulation's been dropping, so in future we can expect lots of pap photos and sleb lifestyle articles. Great.

I know exactly what you mean.

Doesn’t she have shiny legs? I was in a Mac shop a while ago and found that they were selling a product specifically for shining your legs. It was called leg-shine.
Now having shiny enough legs is just one more worry… [Frown]

Old ladies have really shiny legs don't they? Weirdly shiny.

Kind of scaly? Yeah.
Im not sure I want that after all.

I like her dopey eyes. Oddly.

I don't think you'd want shiny per se. A bit of an eggshell sheen perhaps - the sort that seems to radiate an ethereal glow when it catches the light - but you wouldn't want legs so shiny you could do your make up in them. Although it might be convenient if you were running late on your morning commute.

Isn't the shininess of your legs determined more by the tights you're wearing than by your legs?

Posted by MiscellaneousFiles (Member # 60) on :

No - that's a whole different question. We're talking about the underlying shininess of the skin itself, not the additional layer of sheen that can be added by the donning of hosiery.

I don't think legs would be much good as a makeup mirror even if they were really shiny. You would have to be contorted at a fairly odd angle to see in them, and that would make it awkward to hold and apply makeup. Trying this on a crowded bus or tube would be nigh on impossible.

Sorry - I plainly didn't think it through.

In addition to the problems you listed, the curve of your leg would produce a distorted reflection, which would only add to the difficulty of makeup application.

Christ. I didn't even think of that. [Frown]
