On the video, right at the very end, you see Will Greenwood go down on his hands and knees so Matt Dawson can pass the ball to Mike Catt to kick out of play - the last kick of the Rugby World Cup. God, that's good to see again. *sob*Posts: 8467

I just went on imdb to look up Bad Taste, and one of the reviews slags it off for being amateurish. That seems a bit unfair, surely?
Maybe everyone who watches the film should also have to watch the documentary on the making of: Good Taste. I watched it again the other day and it's an amazingly inspiring piece of work, the idea that Peter Jackson just made this stupid film over three years, shooting on Sundays as a kind of a hobby. It's unbelievable stuff - the way he made all the props himself, and all the film equipment. Really, he doesn't have any advantage over anyone else. Zero funding, zero resource. Just plenty of resourcefulness and a will to succeed. So yeah, it's amateurish, and incredibly stupid, but it takes on a whole new quality when you realise it's just people pricking about in their spare time. Marvellous. It's a real sin that the documentary doesn't appear on the DVD. Anyone who's ever wanted to make a film should see it.
