I'm sitting here drinking a beer (free) and surfing the web on a trendy new Imac while waiting to get my haircut.
Time was when I was a kid I'd be sat in a grotty old shop waiting for some old bloke to shave my head.
Tonight I shall be pampered, shampoo'd and trimmed by a young lady while I listen to trance music, sip beer and contemplate the New Year.
Somethings just change for the better...
At this time of reflection I ask you TMO what's changed for the better ? What's changed for the worse and what's not changed at all ? Do you fear change or welcome it ?
Actually, its a bit loud in here - I can't hear myself think...
Still, free beer.....
[edit:new imac keyboards seem to make me mistype a lot of double letters]

TV! Maybe not the quality of the shows but I remember having 4 channels as a kid, one of which only started at 6pm. And the shows were divided between English and Afrikaans (which I dont speak). I dont watch a lot of TV but its nice to know I have so much variety to choose from.
The internet has changed a lot in its short life. For better or worse? I dont know. I do know that when it first become available there weren't pop-ups and spyware at every turn. Windows didnt need to come with a firewall and essential service packs. Mind you... no torrents, TMO or internet banking either.

FPP, if you brag about your giant pubes in this way, you'll never get a girlfriend. The men on this board shave, you know. It's practically compulsory. Just ask Ringo. Or Benway. In fact, if you ask Benway nicely, he might even show you.
