So what I say, send him there. Obviously he would be a target so why not equip the troops out there with decent equipment like tough armoured cars, tanks, proper body armour and the best weaponary. Many of the British troops deaths over there so far have been because proper body armour was not issued and canvas topped troop carriers were used instead of fully enclosed ones with blast resistant steal bodies. And why not beef up Harrys' regiment by increasing their numbers and putting SAS men in there so that when the terrorists strike at his regiment the terrorists get anhilitated by massive return firepower.
As Harlequin put it, a positive side effect will be the fact that all the soldiers around him will get top notch equipment and support.

Actually Harley, have you considered a career in the Armed Forces? The army especially welcome people from all walks of life - in fact a few years ago they took a homeless guy off the street, gave him a wage, a home, food and everything and he became the top recruit in his class.
And look at Judy Benjamin - same with her - became a great soldier with nice tits, and got to shag a frenchman! In France!
I think with your radical ideas you could soon be recruited to HRH's squad, advising senior brass on principles of warfare, damage limitation and the like, and at the same time protecting a royal - I'm sure in no time the Officers would be showing their appreciation for your vision in bringing the military to the 21st century - I'd even wager you'd personally solve the entire Iraq crisis in no time!

I am too old to join the army now as they only recruit people up to the age of 28. Also the army is not properly equipped. For example most of the army deaths in Iraq have been because there was a lack of body armour and proper armoured vehicles. There needs to be more spent on upgrading army equipment.
